>> [ music ] ^m00:00:03 I'm Nicole Lee, associate editor for CNET dot com and this is the Sanyo Pro-200, one of the very first phones from Sprint to have QChat technology. QChat is the CDMA upgrade to iDEN which is what Nextel uses for direct connect push-to-talk service, so this one of the very few CDMA phones to use Nextel direct connect. And as you can see it's a fairly utilitarian design, it has a 1 point 5 inch monochrome external display with the typical date time information. On the side you do get the volume control and the dedicated push to talk button. On the other side you do get a headset jack and a side call key and a side end key. These two keys let you make calls without opening the phone. Open the phone and you'll find a very nice 2 inch display here. On the bottom you do get the typical navigation array, you get a dedicated text button, a dedicated web key, and the typical talk and end keys as well as speaker phone key. The keys are all very well raised above the surface, they're very easy to dial and text by feel, and on the bottom here you do get the speaker grill. As far as features go, you don't get too much else aside from the push-to-talk service. You do get texting, multi-media messaging, there's also a built in web browser, there's also a GPS which is really good for on the go navigation. There's also EV-DO Rev.A. but because this is a very slimmed down basic sort of phone, the EV-DO's only really good for QChat service. Call quality was actually really good; we really liked the sound quality of incoming calls. Speaker phone calls were really good as well. We also paired this phone with another direct connect phone and the push-to-talk calls were very loud and clear as well.
