Samsung YEPP YH-820MC Review
The good: Petite form factor; photo slide-show capabilities; color display; high-quality recording through microphone; line-in MP3 encoding; SRS Wow and TruBass support; compatible with OGG, DRM-protected WMA, and subscription-based downloads (Janus); on-the-fly playlists.
The bad: No FM radio; batteries can't be replaced, display is small for viewing photos; unimpressive USB 2.0 download speed and battery life; proprietary USB/power cable; slight processor delays.
The bottom line: Samsung's YEPP YH-820MC isn't quite as slick as the iPod Mini, but it's smaller and offers features that the Apple player lacks, such as recording capabilities and a photo-friendly display.
