Samsung WB150F Video Transcript
Hi, there. I'm Josh Goldman, Senior Editor with CNET. And this is a look at the Samsung WB150F and this is one of several WiFi enabled point shoots from Samsung for 2012 and why would you want WiFi in your camera? Well, at least for Samsung's models, it gives you the capability to e-mail photo straight from the camera, back them up to a Windows PC or Microsoft Sky Drive, view them wirelessly on DLNA equipped devices or with Samsung mobile apps, you can view and share them on Samsung Galaxy devices or even turn one into a remote view finder. If not of that sounds good, then you might as well sub watching now. The camera without the wireless features is pretty much a run in the mill compact mega zoom. You can ultra wide angle 18X Zoom Lens, nice 3 inch LCD and a camera full of creative shooting and editing options. But it's photos and video quality aren't much better than a smartphone camera and its shooting performance isn't great either. But if you're satisfied with your phone's image quality and just really want a long optical zoom and more control over your results without breaking the bank, the W150F is worth considering. I'm Josh Goldman and that's the Samsung WB150F.

Samsung WB150F (Black) Review
The good: The Samsung WB150F has built-in Wi-Fi that's easily set up for wireless sharing and backup. It has an abundant set of shooting and editing options.
The bad: Samsung's smartphone apps are only guaranteed to work with Samsung Galaxy devices and its autobackup software is Windows-only. The camera's photo quality is barely better than a smartphone's and its shooting performance is somewhat slow.
The bottom line: If you're happy with the photos from your smartphone, but wish you had an actual camera with a long zoom lens and wireless sharing and backup, check out the Samsung WB150F.
