>> I'm Nicole Lee, associated editor at CNET.com and this is the Samsung SGH D900, otherwise known as the Samsling Black Carbon. It is a slider phone like a lot of Samsung phones are these days. As you can see it's very nice and thin. But the thing you may notice is this beautiful 2.2 inch diagonal [inaudible] display here. it's simply gorgeous. The colors look amazing on it. On the bottom is this slippery navigation control, pretty flush to surface. And the keypad is pretty flat as well. We weren't too fond of the controls or keypad because they were so flat. It's pretty hard to dial by feel and navigate the controls easily. When the phone is slid up on the back you can see the 3.0 mega pixel camera lens here as well as the self portrait mirror and the flashlight. Features of the phone are pretty amazing. Some of these include white balance, exposure, ISO settings even. There's also a built in MP3 player that can handle Mp3 files, SE files and so forth. Edge network connectivity. Total memory on the phone is 18 megabytes, add that to the micro SD slot and there's a lot of storage as well. You can even use this phone in the USB mode, so you can use the phone as a storage device, which is pretty amazing. So all in all, we like the phone. My name is Nicole Lee and this has been the Samsung SGH D900, otherwise known as the Black Carbon. ^M00:01:23 [ Music ]
