The Samsung Rugby Smart Takes a Beating! Video Transcript
Hello everybody. I'm Lynn Law from CNET here to show you guys the Samsung Rugby Smart. Now if you're anything like me, you get could get pretty clumsy with your phone. Luckily, the Rugby Smart is as rugged 4G phone from AT&T built to satisfy military specifications. The device is dust proof, shock resistant and can be submerged in 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. In addition to this lock on the back of the phone, little doors for the micro USB port and the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack keep the phone sealed. The device runs on Android Gingerbread, has this 1.3 megapixel camera on the front and a 5 megapixel camera in the back. The camera has tons of photo features that include auto focus, macro zooming and 14 difference scene modes. It can also record video on 720p HD. For a rugged phone, I found this to be pretty light, has a slim design and weighs only 4.4 ounces so it doesn't feel clunky. And the best thing about it is that it doesn't look like an ugly rubber brick. I was also impressed with the phone's 3.7 inch super AMOLED screen. Colors are bright and the images were crisp and vibrant. Whether you have a swashbuckling lifestyle or just hate getting your phone caught in the rain, this device is perfect for withstanding the elements. If you're interested, it's available online right now for 99.99 with a 2 year contract. I'm Lynn bringing you guys the Samsung Rugby Smart by AT&T.

Samsung Rugby Smart (AT&T) Review
The good: The Samsung Rugby Smart's rugged but slim design can withstand a dunking and a slam against the wall. Its camera comes with many features, and images and videos look great on the Super AMOLED screen.
The bad: The Rugby Smart's voice quality is a little muffled and the camera's autofocus feature isn't the fastest.
The bottom line: The Samsung Rugby Smart can take plenty of punches, without skimping on the smartphone features. Unlike other rugged phones, it's easy on the eyes and it can run on 4G.
