Samsung reveals eye-popping TVs Video
Samsung reveals eye-popping TVs Video Transcript
-Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Samsung LED F8000. This is our fifth year launching LED TVs, and it is incredible how we found ways to make them even more beautiful. You know, a thinner profile, a bezel under a quarter inch and a wave-inspired arch stand that gives you the feeling that the TV simply floats in the air. You know, since the big-screen market is the fastest growing segment, the F8000 will be available in sizes all the way up to 75 inches. On a bigger screen, picture quality is more important than ever. For any content source, be it cable shows or online video, viewers will see the best picture possible on an LED TV. CEA recently reported that 61 percent of smart TV users are streaming video from the internet, and in 2013 you'll get the best streaming video picture quality on a Samsung TV. Now, that's possible because our TVs will be the first to offer support for the new high-compression video codec, HEVC. This gives you much higher video quality over lower bandwidth so your content will be consistently looking stunning. We call that intelligent viewing. -Ladies and gentlemen, this is the next frontier of TV, the Samsung Ultra High Definition TV. It's absolutely stunning, would you say? And at 85 inches, a TV of this size could dominate a room. So, we've created the Timeless Gallery design and it well complement any living room for many years to come. The screen, which almost floats within a frame is mesmerizing. ULTRA High Definition resolution offers 4 times the pixels of traditional LED. And this pixel density resolves the smallest of details for an unbelievable lifelike quality to images. Now, picture is only part of the story. An array of speakers is subtly built into the frame. They deliver 120 watts of sound without compromising the design. I could tell you, I've heard it myself and the immersive audio experience that you get is unmatched. What's more? Our TVs can convert HD content to ULTRA High Definition resolution. Your favorite shows will appear on UHD but polished to a quality never before seen. If you visit the Samsung booth, you'll witness the word's largest UHD TV at 110 inches; that's over 9 feet across. We would've brought that one today but we weren't quite sure we'd get it through those doors.
