>> [Bonnie Cha:] Hi, I'm Bonnie Cha, senior editor here at CNET.com, and we are here at CTIA Fall 2009, and I have a first look of the Samsung Omnia 2. Now this has been ar -- announced for Verizon, but they haven't released a specific release date or pricing. But we just kind of wanted to give you a feel of the hardware, which I really love. It's really nice and slim. And it's got this gorgeous WVGA touchscreen over here. This phone is running Windows Mobile 6.5. Verizon really hasn't said whether they'll ship with 6.1 or 6.5, but we're thinking and hoping it's 6.5 so you get this, the new "today" screen as well as the new "start" menu. Down here you've got some navigation controls, including this interesting little D-pad here. So here's your main menu. You can also put Samsung's TouchWiz 2.0 interface on here where you can customize the screen with different widgets. Feature-wise, it's got a five-megapixel camera. It also has WIFI, Bluetooth and GPS. 3.5 millimeter headphone jack here. Again, it's running Windows Mobile 6.5, and it will be available from Verizon later this year. Hopefully soon we'll get updates on everything, but just wanted to give you a little overview of the device. Looks to be shaping up to be a really nice one. So I'm Bonnie Cha. This has been your first look at the Samsung Omnia 2. ^M00:01:19 [ MUSIC ]
