>>Nicole Lee: I'm Nicole Lee, Associate Editor for CNET.com and this is a first look at the Samsung's Modus 3500 Bluetooth headset. At first glance, the headset looks like a very typical normal mono Bluetooth headset but actually pairs up with a stereo earbud cable right here to become a stereo headset as well. On the front of the headset right here is a multi-function button. On the top is a charger jack and on the side is a power switch, that is how you do get the volume rocker. Turn the headset around and you get a very typical in ear earpiece. It comes with different styles of earbud covers. You get ones with the loop and ones without so that you can wear the ear hook if you want. It also comes with an optional clip if you want to attach it to your shirt. To attach the earbuds to the headset all you have to do is connect the cable via the charger jack. The earbuds also have a microphone attached to the cable so that you can also take calls while listening to music. Features of the headset include typical answering and ending calls. You also get, of course, A2DP wireless music streaming. You also get a multi-point technology that let's you connect up to two different devices at once, as well as, dual-mic noise canceling. We like the sound quality of the headset, but we do wish there were music controls on the headset itself. The Samsung Modus 3500 will go for around $40 or $50 retail.
