Samsung Messager Touch SCH-R630 (U.S. Cellular) Video Transcript
>>I'm Nicole Lee, Associate Editor for CNET.com and this is a first look at the Samsung Messager Touch for US Cellular. It is a touch screen phone. On the front here is a 2.6-inch QVGA touch screen display as you can see here. You get up to three customizable home screens of which you can customize with the Samsung touchless interface on the bottom here. Just tap on the gear icon and you will reveal a touchless interface where you can drag and drop widgets and shortcuts to the home screen. At the bottom of each home screen are shortcuts to the phone dialer, the contacts list and other shortcuts menu as well as the main menu. On the back is a 2.0-megapixel camera. You can slide the display sideways to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard as you can see here is pretty roomy and the keys are raised above the surface for easy texting and dialing. Features of the phone include the aforementioned 2.0-megapixel camera and camcorder. You also get stereo Bluetooth on here as well as a typical text and multi-media messaging features. The Samsung Messager Touch is available for $49.99 with a two-year service agreement with US Cellular. I'm Nicole Lee. This has been the first look at the Samsung Messager Touch.

Samsung Messager Touch SCH-R630 - black (U.S. Cellular) Review
The good: The Samsung Messager Touch has an ergonomic and compact design, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2.0-megapixel camera, and good call quality. We also like that it has 3.5mm headset jack.
The bad: The Samsung Messager Touch's camera has mediocre photo quality. There's also no quick access to the e-mail or browser applications.
The bottom line: The Samsung Messager Touch's touch screen and keyboard make it a great multimedia messaging handset for U.S. Cellular.
