>> My name is Nicole Lee, associate editor for CNET.com and this is the Jitterbug One Touch. It is very similar to the Jitterbug Dial, as you can see. It's kind of bulky and wide and nice and rounded. Everything's still clean. The same volume rocker. But the difference between this and the Dial is that this has only three buttons here. the three important keys here are the operator key, to access the operator, a home key to access a predetermined home's number, and of course the 911 key. If you want to make a call that's not on your contacts list, you can just dial operator and they'll make the call for you. Very tactile buttons, yes and no, they're easy to navigate. An on and off button right here. Simple arrow keys. Very easy to use. Only thing is you can't really dial with it, but it's not meant for that. This is really meant for an emergency cell phone just for the elderly or senior citizen in your life that doesn't want to deal with the hassle of a phone, but just wants a simple way to contact his or her family or relatives or just for emergency services. So the Jitterbug One Touch is a great phone for someone old in your life that wants a very simple way to keep in contact with you and this is a great option for that. The good: The Jitterbug OneTouch is very easy to use. Its display has large fonts, its buttons are big and easy to press, and contacts can be pre-installed into the phone. It comes with an operator service that guides users through the calling process. It rests comfortably against the ear and the sound quality is great.
The bad: The Jitterbug OneTouch is a little on the bulky side. The volume rocker is in an awkward position. It also doesn't have a numerical keypad, so this may not be the right choice for seniors who want more flexibility in their phones.
