>> Hi, I'm Kent German, here to show you the Samsung Highnote. It's a music phone but it has some interesting features that I wanna show you. Has a slider design, actually a dual slider design. So like a normal slider phone, you'd go right up like that. There you see the keypad and then if you put it back down and you press it down, you can see you have a speaker right here. Kind of a cool thing. Of course, it is music centric so nice to have the speaker there. One thing that's also interesting about this phone is it has Sprint's new one-click interphase 'cause I can get one-click access to a lot of features. So, you have a certain number of tiles they're called, little square icons and you can program it yourself. There is a scroll wheel on this phone. You can actually move it just around like that. So, it's a great feature to be able to scroll through really long lists like your long song list or maybe a long list of text messages or emails or anything like that. You can see the camera lens back here. This 2 point mega pixel doesn't have a flash or self portrait mirror. Nice, well designed music phone. It does come in the blue that you see here and also comes in red as well. I'm Kent German and this is the Samsung Highnote. [ Music ]

Samsung Highnote - red (Sprint) Review

Editors' rating

The good: The Samsung Highnote has a unique and easy-to-use design and a decent feature set. Call quality was good, and it performs well as a music phone.

The bad: The Samsung Highnote has little internal memory. Streaming video quality was mixed, and some of the navigation controls have a learning curve.

The bottom line: The Samsung Highnote offers a unique design, a varied selection of features, and decent call quality. It's also one of the better Sprint music phones that we've seen.
