>>Hi, I'm Natali Del conte with CNET and we're here in New York at the Samsung Galaxy S launch event where we're taking a look at the Verizon Fascinate. That's Verizon's version of the Galaxy S. There's a Galaxy S for pretty much all carriers in the United States. ^M00:00:18 The Verizon version has this four inch super AM LED strain or AMOLED. Verizon is saying that this is the fastest and most vibrant screen of any cell phone on the market. AT&T and Sprint and T-Mobile versions also have that. As of the time of this filming we don't have a price or release date yet but we know that that will come later on this summer. We only know when T Mobile's version is coming out. ^M00:00:41 Verizon had the social hub which all the Galaxy S phones have. That's where it combines all your social networking features with your contact list so if I were, say, networked with Anderson Cooper I could click on his name and either send him a text message or see everything that he's been up to on his social networks for that given day. It's also heavily focused on multimedia because it's got this really nice screen, it also shoots high definition video at 27 P but there's no front facing camera, so you're not going to do any video chatting with this phone. Once again, this is your first look at the Verizon Fascinate which is the Verizon version at the Samsung Galaxy S. I'm Natali Del Conte with CNET.

Samsung Fascinate - black (Verizon Wireless) Review
The good: The Samsung Fascinate offers a gorgeous Super AMOLED touch screen, a 1GHz processor, and a great multimedia experience. The smartphone can be used as a mobile hot spot.
The bad: GPS positioning isn't always accurate. For now, you can't save apps to an SD card or voice dial over Bluetooth. Search is locked to Bing.
The bottom line: Sleek and powerful, the Samsung Fascinate is another strong addition to Verizon's Android lineup. Its user interface won't appeal to everyone, particularly seasoned Android users, but it's a good smartphone for the masses.
