Hi, I'm Jessica Dolcourt. I have here today the Samsung Exhibit 4G. This is a new phone for T-Mobile and it's due to arrive in stores on June 22nd. So, this is pretty descent looking phone. Thanks especially to the soft touch back cover and for the rubberized grip around the phone face. It's also really comfortable. There are some shiny accents as well and sort alligator skin pattern and hard plastic on the bottom. It's got a 3.5-inch WVGA. That means that it is nice and bright indoors, but like so many other phones, it is kind of washed out in the sun. So, you need sort of stand on shadow to see it if you're outside. Also, the size of the screen is about the lowest limit that I ever wanna see on an android phone. Keyboard typing felt a little cramp in portrait mode, better in landscape mode and also Swype is pre installed so that it helps in portrait and landscape modes. There is a 3-megapixel camera on the back and an LED flash. It took pretty good pictures and descent videos. So, I was happy with that. There is also a VGA camera on the front for self portraits and video chats. Yes, it does come with quick pre installed for that very purpose. Inside, there are some interesting apps pre-installed that you don't see everyday. For example, there is one called drive smart. It will either calls to Bluetooth or to voice mail when you're driving and then and it sends a text responds to your callers. Also, T-Mobile TV is on here for stream stations and other on demand shows and there's the Samsung media hub as always for renting or buying TV shows and movies, but I'm guessing what you really interested about is the 4G and well it perform. So, here in San Francisco, there the Exhibit didn't even come close to the highest radical speeds that T-Mobile advertises, but the again the phones almost never do especially here in San Francisco, but I will say that it's definitely zippier than T-Mobile's 3G phone and that was both after diagnostic testing and after I did some real world tests. So, I am happy with the 4G performance here, which is the HSPA plus network. So, the Exhibit cost 79.99 with a new 2-year service agreement that's after $50 rebate. I think this is a really great price for 4G phone especially because it's got the most current version of Android, that's Android 2.3 gingerbread. It's got 2 cameras and it has a really nice feel because of this rubberized grip and the soft touch back cover. So, again, it's not your highest performing super premium handset, but is a good deal and it's a solid phone and I think that most people would be happy with it including me. I'm Jessica Dolcourt and this is a first look at the Samsung Exhibit 4G.

Samsung Exhibit 4G - black (T-Mobile) Review
The good: The Samsung Exhibit 4G is a fast, comfortable Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset with two cameras and a 1GHz processor.
The bad: The Exhibit lacks a camera shutter button and the virtual keyboard will feel cramped for some. A lag in the camera software caused us to miss some good shots.
The bottom line: A great price makes the Samsung Exhibit 4G a compelling option for Android fans on the lookout for a deal, without sacrificing features.
