>> That's not a new Lamborghini or the new Acura NSX. It's a new car from Saleen. Better known for the hot Mustang conversions they've made over the years working with Ford but this is a whole new animal. The S5S Raptor powered by a mid-engine 5-liter supercharged V8 running on E85. You can ring out higher compression when you burn corn liquor and Saleen took advantage of that to get this guy up to near 650 horsepower. An aluminum frame with composite body panels keeps the weight very low, a little over 3,000 pounds, so top speed is around 200 miles an hour or more although we don't know yet how fast it would get to 60 or better yet a hundred. It'll base a little under 200,000 if it goes into production in a couple of years and it would certainly move Saleen pass its Mustang tuner roots. [ Music ]
