RIM BlackBerry Curve 9330 3G (Sprint) Video Transcript
I'm Nicole Lee, senior associate editor for CNET.com and this is a first look at the RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 for Sprint. This is essentially Sprint's version of the same phone for Verizon Wireless. It has the same form factor as you can see here, very nice colorful screen. Underneath that, you get the usual navigation array as well as the optical trackpad in the middle. Underneath that, you get a nice full QWERTY keyboard, very raised above the surface so it's easy to text and dial by feel. On the back is the 3.2-megapixel camera. Features of the phone are fairly basic for a BlackBerry. You do get 3G support on here in the form of EV-DO. You also get Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, and so forth. The Sprint version of the phone comes with Sprint-specific apps like Sprint Navigation, Sprint Zone, as well as support for Sprint TV, NASCAR Sprint for Mobile, and Sprint Football Live. The BlackBerry Curve 3G for Sprint ships with OS 5 but it is upgradeable to OS 6. Other features of the phone include, of course, access to e-mail. This supports BlackBerry Enterprise server as well as Exchange and IBM Lotus Domino. The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 for Sprint is only $50 with a new two-year service agreement. I'm Nicole Lee, this has been the first look at the RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 for Sprint.
