RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 (AT&T) Video Transcript
-I'm Nicole Lee, Senior Associated Editor for CNET.com and this is the first look at the BlackBerry Curve 3D 9300 for AT&T. This is essentially AT&T's version of the same Curve 3D for T mobile and the other carriers. It's the same old Curve, but with 3D service added to it. It is also upgradable to BlackBerry OS6, thanks to the new 624 MHz processor. On the front here is the usual BlackBerry OS interface, very easy to use, especially because of the optical tract pad underneath. You also get the usual BlackBerry menu key the same and end/power keys as well. Included in the BlackBerry Curve 3G at the usual BlackBerry apps, as well as AT&T own apps via AT&T apps center. That includes AT&T navigator, this AT&T GPS service. On the back here, is a 3 megapixel camera lens. Other features on here include visual voice mail as well as apps like Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, and LinkedIn. The BlackBerry Curve 3D 9300 is available for around $80 from AT&T. BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 (AT&T) Review
The good: The RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is slim and compact, with a responsive optical touch pad, convenient external media keys, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, and a 2-megapixel camera.
The bad: The RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is not too different from its predecessors, and remains a fairly basic smartphone.
The bottom line: The RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is a decent entry-level BlackBerry with a couple of modern features like 3G and GPS, but we wish it was more affordable.
