RIM BlackBerry 8700g Video Transcript
>> Hi, this is Bonnie Cha, Senior Associate Editor at CNET.com and today we're taking a first look at the RIM Blackberry 8700g for T-Mobile. This is their new BlackBerry replacing the 7290 and it's slimmer and it's nice and compact. I like the color. It's got this great vibrant screen. Everything is really crisp and the colors are super bright, which is nice. And you also got the new Talk and End key, so it's more of like a cell phone. Got the full QWERTY keyboard here, but the keys feel a little plasticky and cheap and it's a little slippery, so that should be a complaint of mine. Also, you've got your short cut key over here, as well as an Escape key in the familiar track wheel that's on most BlackBerrys. RIM has also added a couple of extra things on this device that make it more consumer-friendly. First, there's a easy-to-use email set up utility right here, so you can just add your e-mail, super easy. And also, it also supports all the popular IM clients, such as AOL and Yahoo, so that's a good addition. Finally, there's a speakerphone on the back for hands-free calling that's great if you're using them in the car. I'm Bonnie Cha and this has been the RIM BlackBerry 8700g.

RIM BlackBerry 8700g (T-Mobile) Review
The good: The RIM BlackBerry 8700g offers easy e-mail setup and adds support for popular instant-messaging clients. The quadband 8700g also comes with an Intel processor, EDGE speeds, Bluetooth 2.0, a speakerphone, and a full QWERTY keyboard.
The bad: The BlackBerry 8700g's keyboard feels a bit cheap and slippery. Also, there are no expansion options, and we encountered some problems viewing PDFs on the device.
