Executive producers Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban are experimenting with this day-and-date model utilizing various media properties they own, with a goal of giving consumers a choice of how, when, and where they wish to see a movie.

Lonnie Frisbee was a young hippie seeker fully immersed in the 1960s counterculture when he claimed to have experienced an encounter with God while on an acid trip. The event so transformed him that Lonnie became an itinerant Christian evangelist, something of a John the Baptist of Southern California who compelled thousands toward a profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
Fascinatingly, his call into Christian ministry came while deeply involved in the Laguna Beach homosexual scene. And because he died as a result of AIDS in 1993, he's been marginalized from history by the very men whom he helped establish with their evangelistic ministries.
Controversial throughout his life, the brief but dynamic career of evangelist Lonnie Frisbee is a powerful story of biblical proportions. "Frisbee: The Life and Death of a Hippie Preacher" captures the dramatic journey of this spiritual seeker turned Jesus freak who thousands remember as the agent through whom they experienced spiritual transformation.

Late one night in a working class New Jersey suburb, a bloody woman staggers mute and dazed into the emergency room at the Dempsy Medical Center. After treatment for shock and hysteria, Brenda Martin (Julianne Moore) recounts to Dempsy police detective Lorenzo Council (Samuel L. Jackson) a horrific tale of being carjacked on the isolated strip of undeveloped land that divides Dempsy?s urban housing projects from the blue collar town of Gannon, where she lives. She claims she was forced out of her car by a black man, but during the interrogation Council senses he?s not getting the whole story. Only after hours of questioning does Brenda finally break down and confess that her four-year-old son Cody was asleep in the back seat of the stolen car. Led by activist Karen Collucci (Edie Falco), members of the communities of Dempsy and Gannon unite in a search for the missing child, but the criminal investigation into the alleged kidnapping by a suspect who is presumed to be a local from the projects soon ignites long-simmering racial tensions between the two towns.
