>> Nicole Lee: The AT&T Quickfire is a new messaging phone from AT&T and it has both a touch screen and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. My name is Nicole Lee and this is a First Look at the AT&T Quickfire. So as you can see on the front here is this 3-inch capacitive touch screen. What that means is all you need is your fingers to sort of navigate the screen. So the keyboard is very nice and the touch screen itself is also very responsive to touch as well. So if you hit it right here it will launch to main menu and you see all the features up here like messaging, browser, AT&T's Mobile Music Services: it's all here. On the bottom you get the talk key and end key and in the middle you do get a shortcut key of sorts. If you press it, it will launch your favorite applications right on the home screen. Features of the AT&T Quickfire include a music player, 3G HSDPA of course and that's just the AT&T 3G services like Mobile Music, cellular video, all the streaming video services on here. There's stereo Bluetooth of course, it's email, instant messaging and a full HTML browser, but we still found the browser a little bit clunky to navigate. It's not as smooth as the iPhone. Overall the AT&T Quickfire is a pretty decent messaging phone for AT&T. It's a very nice touch screen but it's not a smart phone. There's no exchange services on here so you can't get work email, but you do get a very nice browser as we said. And pretty decent multi media features on here. Not the best photo quality but pretty good for what it is. And the QWERTY keyboard as we said is definitely worth the price. It's available now for 99.99 from AT&T with a 2-year service agreement. My name is Nicole Lee and this has been the AT&T Quickfire from AT&T.

AT&T Quickfire - silver Review
The good: The AT&T Quickfire has both a touch screen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It also has multimedia features, HSDPA speed, stereo Bluetooth, A-GPS, and a full HTML browser.
The bad: The AT&T Quickfire suffers from a slightly finicky touch-screen interface, especially when it comes to the browser.
The bottom line: Though it has a few design quirks, the AT&T Quickfire's impressive feature set and intuitive controls make it one of the better messaging phones out there.
