>> So maybe you've had your Xbox 360 for a while and you're getting sick of hearing the same in game tracks over and over and over. Well, never fear. If you have an iPod or another favorite MP3 player, you already have all that you need. I'm Veronica Belmont from CNET.com and I'm going to show you a quick tip on how to listen to your favorite tracks while you're playing Xbox 360. Make sure you have the USB cable to connect your iPod to the 360. Just plug it in the USB port right here on the front of the computer. Just like that. Now, the iPod is going to act like it always does, don't disconnect. You know better. Okay, now let's take a look at the Xbox screen. Just press the button in the center of the controller to bring up the menu. See the select music button right there? This is going to make the Xbox 360 look for places to find music. So let's press it. After a little bit of time, the iPod pops up. All right, well here's our iPod, Bob Pod. Now everything appears as it should with your playlists in tact. Now MP3's will work automatically, but to play AAC files without DRM, you need the free Kodak from Xbox live marketplace. Okay, so now we're just gonna select a song. Let's play some Johnny Cash. Now let's go back into your games and you can take out some locusts while listening to some Johnny Cash. Now as far as I can tell, the safest way to disconnect the iPod is when you turn off the console. I'm Veronica Belmont and that's it for this Quick Tip. I'll see you next time. ^M00:01:38 [ music ]
