>> Hi, I'm Brian Cooley with the Quick Tip on taking better photos with your digital camera regardless of what kind you have. This tip is about existing light. It means turning off the flash on your camera. Typical sight, you got some friends you want to take a picture of, you take out your camera, it's on full auto mode, you hit the button and ouch! There's that flash. That's a nice picture, instead hit the flash button a couple of times, cycle it around to the no-flash mode, take a deep breath and hold real still, and by the way, they should too. And you get a much better picture. Look at that, nice natural looking human beings. By the way, another tip when you're using this technique, if you're in a restaurant or somewhere out and about, look for an improvised tripod like this drinking glass and then put your camera into the timer mode. That way, your hand shake doesn't blur the photo when it's taking an existing light photograph. I think you're gonna like the results.
