Quick Tips: Play music on a Kindle Video Transcript

>> Hey I'm Tom Merritt from CNET dot com, here's a quick tip for putting MP3's on the Amazon Kindle. Now it's nice to read to a little background music sometimes and the Amazon Kindle lets you put your own MP3's on it. First, hook up the USB cable. Open the Kindle folder in my computer, or finder in a MAC; drag your MP3's onto the Kindle. Great, now how do you play them? You can plug in headphones or just listen through the built in speakers. Scroll down to menu and click. Scroll to experimental and click. Scroll to play music or an easier way, hold down the alt key and press the p key. Press it again to stop. Downside is, you can't control what track will come up next. If you don't like the random selection, you have to stop the track and then start again to begin a new track. That also means you can't pause music as it starts a new track after every stop. Hey, they said it's experimental.
