>> Hey, I'm Veronica Belmont from CNET.com and on today's quick tip, I'm going to show you three easy ways to take screenshots in OS X. If you're looking to take a screenshot of the whole screen, simply use CMD plus Shift plus 3. A file will be placed on your desktop that shows the contents of your entire screen. It will even work if you're using two displays by making two image files. However, if you just want to copy it to your clipboard, hold control as well. It might take some finger acrobatics now. If you just want a certain area of your screen, you can be selective by holding CMD plus Shift plus 4. Just take the cursor that appears and drag it over the area that you want to snap. And finally, if there's a specific window on an application that you need a screenshot of, use CMD plus Shift plus 4 then spacebar and then select the window that you want to snap. Voila. I hope you enjoyed this Quick Tip. There are many more where this came from. Just search for Quick Tips on CNET TV. I'm Veronica Beaumont and I'll see you next time. ^M00:00:59 [ Music ]
