>> Dong: Hello, this is Dong Ngo for CNET.com and I have with me today the TS-109 Pro II NAS server from QNAP. This is a single bay network tech storage device that doesn't come with a hard drive, it means you will have to buy one and install yourself. The device supports and SAT hard drive of any capacity. On the back here apart from the ports you can find the place where you need to unscrew the box open to get to the hard drive base, it's quite a job. The NAS server also take a long time to format the hard drive, it took more than an hour for me. Other NAS servers take much less time just around 10 minutes or so for the job. The lengthy setup process aside, this is a NAS server of many features, it can support up to 3 printers or 2 IP Web cameras at the same time. It has built in media servers, MTP server, and the ability to download files by itself. The QNAP TS-109 is also one of a few NAS servers on the market that support ESAT port for external storage. You can also attach USB external hard drives to the device via two ports on the back here. On the front there's another USB port for its quick copy feature, you insert a thumb drive into this port here and press the button; this will backup the entire content of the thumb drive onto the NAS server. The TS-109 Pro II is a little pricey costing around $320.00 without a hard drive, however, it offers a lot more than just network storage space, remember to check out its review at CNET.com. My name's Dong Ngo and this has been the first look at the TS-109 Pro II NAS server from QNAP. ^E00:01:49

The Verbatim MediaShare is a simple single-volume NAS that comes in an aesthetically pleasing design and offers fast performance. Its confusing initial setup process, limited amount of storage, and lack of features, however, might steer most home users away.
Ideal for the home, Hewlett-Packard's Media Vault mv2100 series is a NAS solution that offers a lot more than just network storage. The device's design is very easy to use, and it comes with a number of helpful features such as iTunes Server, Universal Plug and Play media-streaming capability, and HP Photo Webshare. It also supports RAID 1 for better data protection.
While other external hard drives only offer a preset menu of ports, the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex cuts costs with a buffet of "personality cables" that let you pick only the connections that suit your system profile. We applaud Seagate for making data backups easier than ever, and recommend the FreeAgent GoFlex external hard drive for extra data storage now and easy upgrades in the future.
The 2006 Honda Civic Si is a real performance bargain that also offers good mileage and emissions ratings. The quality of the electronics is equivalent to that found in much pricier vehicles. Simple standard features fit the car's mission well, signaling
The impressive iLuv i199 provides a dizzying array of features--including iPod compatibility, a CD player, and an AM/FM clock radio--that you'll be hard-pressed to find on any other tabletop audio systems at this price.
HP's Media Vault is a storage drive that offers an easy way to back up files from your networked PCs, along with the ability to stream your digital media files to other networked devices in your home. We really like this drive.
Haier America's flash-based Ibiza Rhapsody is pricier and larger than the competition, but its straightforward interface, excellent wireless integration, speedy processor, and plethora of features should appeal to those looking for a player that does it all.
