>> The iPod Touch takes care of all those people who kept saying I want an iPhone without the big, fat phone contract. Well, now you have it. So what's to like about it? Well, a whole lot. The Touch is clearly inspired from the iPhone, but it's a little shorter, I'm bringing them together. And a lot thinner. It has the same multitouch technology that let's you navigate through the menus and features are your fingers, and it uses the same size screen for all its multimedia. Come on guys, it's the iPhone without the phone. Now here's the 411 on the new goodies it brings. It's the first iPod to incorporate the all new Wi-Fi iTunes music store. So I can jump into the store by pressing this menu icon, and just like that iTunes can search for music. Now let's check out Condi's [assumed spelling] new album I'm Sorry 50, preview 30 seconds of the tune, and I'm interested. And it's one click away to buy and forever be mine. Once you have the songs on your iPod Touch the music can be synced to your computer back home so it's nice and easy. The Touch has Wi-Fi so you better bet Apple's also including the Safari Web Browser to surf anywhere you have Wi-Fi, and they also included the YouTube feature. So a few things the iPod Touch can do that the iPhone just can't, the ability to output video and photos to a TV set using a supportive accessory, the other advantage is the ability to manually manage your music and content through iTunes. Sometimes just doing it automatically gets annoying. Plus the head phone jack is not recessed like the iPhone. Thank you very much. Now I said it was the iPhone without the phone, but the Touch is also missing a few things people might be used to. If you look around the edges there are no physical buttons for advancing tracks for volume control. So instead of keeping it in your pocket you'll have to bring it out to make any adjustments. Now one thing they did is you can double-tap the home button here, and a screen like this pops up to give you track and volume control. But it's an extra step and it's a pain in the boo-tay [Phonetic]. There are also rumblings about issues with some of the screens displaying dark scenes really dark, and some of the detail even being lost. Now it's effecting a small percentage, but I'd test one out before I go home with this brand new baby. Now an [Inaudible] model will cost you 299, and the 16-gig will line your wallet by 399. So you're really paying for the great interface over the storage capacity.
