>> What's up Prizefight fans? We're here to find out who's the top dog for touch screen phones on Verizon Wireless. In this week's Prizefight, it's a face-off between Samsung's Glyde and the LG Voyager. It's five rounds to the finish, so let's get started with the good stuff, Sexiness. Both of these phones have a touch screen on the front with a single button. Both of these phones have QWERTY keyboards. The Glyde has a slide and the Voyager flips. The Glyde has smoother curves and a compact body and even though the Voyager is bigger, it makes better use of its touch screen. We're giving -- uhh, 4's to both of these guys. Next round is Navigation. Both of these Verizon phones basically have the same interface and menus. The Glyde's smaller screen makes for a more cramped to user's experience and you'll have your share of miss hits. The Voyager's larger screen makes it easier to use and it also has its own navigation controls. Plus the keyboard is spaced out and makes for a better experience. Voyager takes this round 5 to 3. Next stop, we've got Features. These guys are jam packed with everything you can think off: EV-DO, GPS, Bluetooth, an HTML browser, 2-megapixel camera, MMS and V-Cast services. Neither of these phones have Wi-Fi, so where's the difference? The Glyde has a flash and a self portrait mirror on its camera and the Voyager doesn't. The Voyager has the V-Cast Mobile TV option, which streams live TV to the phone and the Glyde doesn't. The differences are just too small to make a dent. And we're handling out 4's to everyone and calling this round a tie. The Voyager still leads by 2, so who rocks better video and sound quality. Next round is Multimedia. Video loads and streams about the same on both of these devices from what we could tell. Audio and music sound solid through the speakers on each of these. The difference is that the Voyager allows you to watch video on either its external or internal screen and even though video streams have a little pixilation for both phones, it's also nicer to have it on a little bigger display. The Voyager keeps swinging it gets uhh, a 4 and the Glyde gets a 3. The Voyager leads by 3 going into the final round. These rounds have been tight, so what's the final one all about -- Call quality. Overall Verizon phones have a rep for sounding great with calls. And it's no different here. Both of these phones have clear and crisp audio, call volume is solid and the signal stay strong for both, speakerphone is great too. It's another even round and we're handing out 4's to both of these phones. So let's total up the score and after three of the five rounds going even, the Voyager is your Prizefight winner. I'm Brian Tong, thanks for watching and we'll catch you guys next time on another Prizefight. Pow. ^M00:02:45 [ Music ]
