>> Hey everyone, welcome to Prizefight, I'm Veronica Belmont and today we're going to talk about a couple of Blue Tooth headsets that would love to be permanently attached to the side of your head. The Plantronics Discovery 665 and the Motorola H9 Miniblue. Let's start with round one: Sexiness. The last thing anyone wants to see is a Blue Tooth headset that looks like dental headgear. Luckily, neither of these headsets is going to fall into that category, they're both small and stylish. I love the tiny Miniblue here. The design is innovative and I like how closely it sticks to my head when it's on. The Miniblue gets a five for this round and the Discovery 665 gets a four. Next up is features. There really isn't anything to the interface of either of these devices. But that's because they need to keep it simple. But the tiny buttons can be a little bit difficult to push. I found a large multi-function on the Miniblue to be the easiest to use and the smaller buttons on the 665 a little difficult to push down. I'm giving the Miniblue a four and the Discovery 665 a three. The Motorola is pulling ahead early. The next round is comfort. The Miniblue doesn't have a hook or anything to hold it onto your ear so it relies on a deep fit and the flanged earpieces. The Discovery 665 isn't quite as invasive nor does it have the ear strap on it. The comfort level here is better for me with this one. The Miniblue gets a three and the 665 gets a four. The Discovery 665 has a technology called audio IQ. That's supposed to make the sound quality better on both sides of the call. And it does help. The Miniblue sounded pretty decent but there was a lot of ambient noise for the person you're talking to. But you know with the earpiece jammed so far into your ear, you can hear it okay. I'm giving the Miniblue a four and the 665 a five. One round left, battery life. The headsets each take different approaches to battery life. The 665 will last for three point five hours of talk time. But the charging options are limited. You can either use the car charger or the USB charger. The Miniblue will only last one point five hours but you can take the portable charger with you for an additional six hours of battery life. I don't mind carrying around the portable charger if it means my headset won't die. So I'm giving the Miniblue a five and the Discovery a four. That's it, let's see the scores. The Motorola H9 Miniblue gets a twenty one and the Plantronics Discovery 665 gets a twenty. Not a bad match.
