It's Tuesday, August 31st, 2010. I'm Jeff Bakalar and it's time to get loaded. GMail has added a new e-mail sorting feature called Priority Inbox. While we all know and love Gmail's current spam filter, we get a lot of e-mail that isn't quite spam but hides those important e-mails from your boss. Priority Inbox will now sort your e-mail based on which e-mails you've read and responded to in the past. It divides your inbox into three parts--important, starred, and everything else. Priority Inbox is a much welcome feature and it's available right now. The epic battle of our generation is now officially over and it's clear that in the war between Facebook and MySpace, Facebook is king. MySpace has conceded by offering new seeking services that can cross post to Facebook and Twitter accounts. This is especially useful for musicians who are finding now that Facebook fan pages are becoming increasingly popular. Speaking of music, Apple's music event is tomorrow and more rumors are swirling about. Sources close to CNET News are reporting that iTunes will double their song preview lengths from 30 seconds up to 60 seconds. Many users were critical in the past of the 30-second preview as being far too short to judge a song. For the latest news tomorrow, be sure to check out CNET.com for the must-have Apple news. NASA has finally joined Flickr. NASA holds a large archive of public domain images and will now be contributing over 200 photos taken throughout the organization's early history. While the photos were available in the past through other sources like the internet archive, NASA hopes that Web 2.0 sites like Flickr will help the photos be more readily available to the public. Hannspree is getting set to release a 10.1-inch Android tablet. The multi-touch device boasts Android 2.2, a 1-GHz Tegra 2 chip, 16 gigabytes of internal storage plus USB and HDMI ports. Battery life sounds promising as well. Hannspree says you'll get 8 hours of 1080p movie playback on just a single charge. The tablet's gonna go for roughly $500 when it's released but we don't have a solid date for that just yet. Those are your headlines for today. I'm Jeff Bakalar for CNET.com and you've just been loaded.
