>> Tom Merritt: I'm Tom Merritt for CNET at CES 2010 taking a look at the new line from Power Mat. Now if you're familiar with Power Mat what they have done is they have cell phone adaptors that give you wireless charging on a mat. They have 3 new mats that are under $100. If you already have a power mat and you want to get some smaller ones they've made the new ones thinner but their big new product is the power mat portable 2X. What this does is includes a battery so when you're on the road and you don't have an outlet nearby you can still wirelessly charge your device leading to all the people to joke how do you wirelessly charge your battery in the Power Mat portable but that is done by a plug in the back. However, the charge will last for awhile you'll be able to do some wireless charging as well as have a nice long power mat. This will be available sometime in the summer, June, July sell for $99. They're also introducing what they're calling the Power Mat netbook. Power Mat netbook is a device that can charge a couple of phones as well as a netbook. It can handle up to a 50 watt netbook and they'll have 7 different tips for you to be able to adapt it to a lot of different net books. Now the one thing with Power Mat you have to actually have a separate battery. It used to be you have to have an enclosure it was kind of ugly you still have to do that for the iPhone you just can't take the battery out but with the Power Mats new batteries they fit inside the phone so the new little batteries are actually much more convenient. All of this is going to launch sometime between April and July. Once again it's the new line from Power Mat. [ Background music ]
