>> Pontiac Solstice will get a whole new body shape in the form of this rakish coupe that reminds us of both the BMW C4 Coupe without the ugly and the Vintage Jaguar E Type Coupe. The Soltice is actually a Targa, however, so the roof panel between the A and B pillars lifts off and that panel is pretty big in fact too big to be stowed in the car so you have to leave it at home but there will be a minimal rag top you can put up for unexpected weather and since the panel is so large they made the frame out of magnesium so you won't throw your back out lifting it off. The Coupe pulls off with the same 2-power trains found on the roadster today including a turbo 4 on the GXP model. Look forward at dealer showrooms early 2009.
