Daily Debrief: Google's political archenemy?

California Assemblyman Joel Anderson is a Republican from a San Diego-area district that he calls one of the most conservative in the state. When he stopped by CNET's headquarters in San Francisco on Monday, chief political correspondent Declan McCullagh asked him why a former businessman, entrepreneur, and NRA life member has Google in his crosshairs. Anderson successfully pressured the search company to include a link to its privacy policy on its home page, and is asking the state and federal justice departments to investigate the Google-Yahoo ad deal.
