>> I'm John Falcone from cnet.com. We're here at CES 2009 and taking a look at the Pioneer VSX-819 AV Receiver. This receiver has 3 HDMI inputs; it can decode the latest DTS and Dolby true HD Blu-Ray soundtracks and for 2009 it also is fully iPod and iPhone compatible. You can plug your iPod or iPhone in here and get the menu screen up on your TV and navigate it from the remote control which is a really nice step up feature. In addition to being Sirius ready this model also has auto calibration so you just set it up, hit the button and it automatically tunes itself to your individual room. Now this receiver doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the other ones have these days, but what we really like about it is that it delivers a lot of the essential features for a price that's under $300 when it becomes available in the spring of this year.
