>> Brian Tong here with CNET.com at CES 2009. What we have here is a First Look at Pioneer's BDP-23FD. It's a Blu-ray player, but it has a few unique features. Now, one of them is that there's actually 1-Gig of onboard memory here. So what that means for you is there's full BD live support. If you have a DVD, like Batman or Ratatouille, there's extra features that you can actually download it to the Blu-ray player and take advantage of them. Another cool thing, it does have the ability for you to plug in an external drive that supports up to 2-Terabytes of information and if you also wanna just connect a portable drive you can do that and this device powers it all. This model will be available for 599 coming to you around May. So there you have it. It's a First Look at the BDP-23FD. ^M00:00:46 [ Music ]
