I'm David Carnoy, executive editor for cnet.com. And I'm here with the Philips' sound shooter wireless portable speaker. It actually has a more complicated model number, the SBT30ORG/37. This is a Bluetooth wireless speaker and it comes in a variety of different colors. The rubber protective cover is removable, but at this time Philips does not sell separate covers for this, so the color you buy is the color you get. What's nice about it is that it is obviously very affordable. It also plays very loud for its size. I can say it's fantastic sound. This is a mono speaker, but I think a lot of people will be impressed with its sound quality for such a small speaker. However, audio files probably will not be that impressed. And if you do wanna hang it from a backpack or your built loop, it does come with this carabiner so you can clip it on to something. The last feature worth mentioning is that this does have an audio input. It's tied into the USB port. It's a dual core that charges the built-in rechargeable battery and you can also use it to connect to a non-Bluetooth device. Really only small bad thing I noted in my review is that there isn't a volume control button on the speaker itself. You can to control the volume through your mobile device. All in all, a nice little speaker from Philips. It cost around $50. I would like to see it rough $40, but this is a pretty good value for a decent sounding tiny Bluetooth speaker that also has a speaker phone. I'm David Carnoy and that's the Philips' sound shooter wireless. Thanks for watching.
