>> Hi I'm Rich Brown, senior editor for CNET.com. Today we are here to take a look at the PC Club and Power Velocity 05SLI. The first thing you'll notice about the system is the giant baby blue robot. PC club is going to be rolling out more designs in the future and they are also actually going to be taking custom image requests as well. So if the robot isn't for you, don't worry you can probably turn this into a system that you like. Now the front of the system you will see a pretty basic high end layout. We've got a dual layer DVD burner right here, a multimedia format card reader and a standard array of ports right there. We kind of wish that they had gone all the way with the design and really done the color onto the drive bay panels and the various events and things. Now inside the unit you see a pretty cool layout, they actually did a really good job here and the quad courtship from Intel, which is under here makes it easy to cool, so it's nice and they don't really have to worry about massive fans or liquid cooling or anything. You can see there's plenty of room for upgrades, there is drive space here as well as room for more hard drives here. And it looks like there is room for more cards here, but there's actually a little caveat. This is a G4's 8800 GTX graphics card, a very powerful, top of the line, probably a little bit ahead of its time in fact. Now the problem is that if you want to add to graphics cards to this system, the power supply isn't really strong enough. PC club does offer a couple higher end models on its website, but it doesn't really make it clear what you need for what kind of configuration, you'll have to go in and figure it out for yourself. Over all though we like this system, it's got a clean build, the design is pretty unique and you know, maybe not for everybody but you know at least it's different. And we found that it is pretty fast in our performance test. The price is actually pretty reasonable to for such a high end computer. So I am Rich Brown and that's the PC Club and Power Velocity 05 SLI. ^M00:01:42 [ Music ]
