Hey there I'm Josh Goldman senior editor with CNET and if -- in the market for a fast camera with some -- zoom. They can still slip in a small pocket. You'll want to check this out. It's Panasonic's Lumix DMC -- seven. And in a body that's less than an inch thick it has an ultra wide angle lens with a ten X optimism. -- high res three inch LCD on back and -- speedy fourteen megapixel mos sensor. Now that sensor supports full HD movie capture at sixty -- in AV CHD but it'll also shoot MP four format to. I as well as some multi shot modes for high dynamic range in hand held night shots. It also has Panasonic's light speed AF system. Which combined with its sensor and processors -- you shoot fast. With a low shutter lag and shot to shot times and -- can bird shoot with auto focus something you won't find on most other cameras in its class. Photo quality is very good too but I wouldn't expect to do much enlarging -- heavy cropping. Also its battery life is pretty short and it's charged by USP in camera so if you get a second battery you'll have to plan ahead. But otherwise for its price it's really quite nice. I'm Josh Goldman and that's the Panasonic -- exam. --

Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7 (Black) Review
The good: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7 delivers fast shooting performance and very good photo and movie quality in a slim package with a wide, long lens.
The bad: The SZ7's battery life could be better, and its pictures probably won't thrill pixel peepers.
The bottom line: A speedy little camera with a long lens, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7 performs beyond its tiny price tag.
