>> Hi, I'm Bonnie Cha, senior editor at cnet.com, and today we have your first look at the Palm Central. This is Palm's first non-Trio, and it's also the smallest and lightest smart phone they've put out, which is a good thing because the Trio is pretty bulky and lagging behind the competition a little bit. Comes in black and red, and it is nice and light. Kind of feels toy-like, actually. And the one downside is the keyboard is really, really cramped. It's pretty small. I have small fingers and even I had problems typing out messages on it. Otherwise, you've got a 1.3 mega pixel camera on the back, you've got the advantage of a touch screen so you can navigate using the buttons or just tapping the screen, which is really nice. It's got everything a Trio has, Bluetooth, e-mail, and it's also EVDO support. It's a great value at $99, it's available through Sprint with a two-year contract. So I wouldn't say it's the best device for a business on user, but if you're looking for your first smart phone or just want a really easy device, the Palm Central is a really good device. This is Bonnie Cha, and this has been your first look at the Palm Central. ^M00:01:05 [ Music ]
