Even though it's been around since 1994. Opera remains the alternative or alternative browser on the PC, Opera Mini or Opera Mobile for phones and tablets are different beast entirely and Opera has become one of the most visible and heavily used phone browser around. I am (Seph Black?) for CNET and in this first look. I'll be showing you Opera Mini, Opera Mobile and the big differences between the 2 of them. Let's start with Opera Mini, it works in nearly in every kind of phone out there from high end smartphone like iPhone all the way to basic the dumb phone, it's killer feature Opera Turbo a compression tool that runs the site you're loading through Opera servers. Not only does it helps you load pages faster in some cases it can even save you up to 90% of your bandwidth. Mini version 6.5 which runs on IOS, Android, Symbian 60, Windows mobile and Blackberry. Sprints many Opera basic that desktop user are familiar with this include tap browsing, Opera link, synchronizing your desktop and mobile device bookmarks, speed dialing and passwords pinch to zoom, image toggling, save pages for offline viewing and rudimentary privacy management. Java phones and older Blackberry get some of these features on Opera Mini 4 like Turbo. So what's the difference of between Mini 6.5 and Opera Mobile 11.5. Mobile is basically as close to the PC experience as you can get on your tablet or phone. Opera Mobile can give Android users Flash Support and you can toggle it on, off or on demand. You also get HTML 5 support on Mobile and you get the full Opera rendering engine. This allows you to toggle on and off to Turbo by default on Opera Turbo it is set to off. You can access settings, bookmarks and more from the old button at the bottom right of the interface. Android users take note that this is a universal Opera interface, the hardware settings key won't do a thing for you man. Note out that Opera Turbo is Mini and Mobiles biggest selling point. I wouldn't go as far to say the Opera is the fastest mobile browser around since browser keep changing but it certainly know slouch for the first look of Opera Mini 6.5 and Opera Mobile 11.5.
