Opera Mini 5 for iPhone Video Transcript
>> Jessica Dolcourt: I'm Jessica Dolcourt from CNET taking a first look at Opera Mini running on the iPhone. Now this application isn't in the market yet, it's not available. In fact it has just been submitted to Apple so time will tell if it's accepted. Apple doesn't traditionally accept a lot of 3rd party browsers onto its platform but Opera has high hopes that is will accept Opera Mini because it's using Opera servers to deliver web pages. It's not running those webpage's from the phone itself. Now Opera Mini 5 running on iPhone will look and act a lot like Opera Mini 5 running on other mobile platforms. It will include tabbed browsing and speed dial. The one major difference is that it will also save your sessions much like you would see on the desktops. So when you close out of the app and you open up the app again your browser tabs will reload. Again time will tell if Apple accepts the Opera Mini browser for the iPhone. In the meantime I'm Jessica Dolcourt and this has been your first look at Opera Mini 5 for iPhone.
