>> Hi, I'm Bonnie Cha, senior associate editor at CNET.com and today we're taking a first look at the Nokia N95. This has been one of the most highly anticipated phones in a while. And with good reason. It has a 5 mega pixel camera and shoots VGA quality videos. It's also got integrated GPS so you can actually get directions on your device. It's got WIFI, Bluetooth, pretty much everything you would ever want in a smart phone. Has media player and email, just all the works. Was it worth the wait? Not so much. The design is nice though. It's really nice and compact. Very light. It actually makes you feel a little bit cheap. The screen kind of wobbles up and down. But it does have a dual slider design. You can slide it up for the numerical key pad. And if you slide it this way, it will give you the music controls here. The Nokia N95 is available now unlocked so you can put in your T Mobile phone card or your Cingular SIM card. But it's very, very pricy at 750 dollars. There's no other smart phone out there like it with all these features. So if you're really tech fanatic or gadget lover, this is a gadget you'll want. I'm Bonnie Chung. This is the Nokia N95. ^M00:01:09 [ Music ]

Nokia N95 - black/silver (Unlocked) Review
The good: The Nokia N95 cell phone boasts a 5-megapixel camera that produces good-quality photos and videos. It comes with advanced multimedia capabilities and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Symbian smart phone also features integrated GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, and an innovative two-way slider design.
The bad: The N95 lacks support for U.S. 3G networks; standby battery life is poor; and performance is somewhat sluggish. The hardware feels a bit cheap, and the sliding mechanism could be more secure. It's also very expensive.
The bottom line: With a 5-megapixel camera, advanced multimedia capabilities, and GPS, there's no doubt that the Nokia N95 is one of the most feature-packed smart phones to date, but poor battery life and sluggish performance make it hard to justify the high price tag.
