>> Hi, I'm Kent German, Senior Editor here at CNET.com. Today we'll take a First Look at the Nokia 7510. This is a new phone for T-Mobile Service. This is the phone that they introduced at CES 2009 and now that it's just early February they're coming out with the phone that's always a good sign. It is a bit of a chunky flip phone for T-Mobile, has a flip design. It is covered in this soft-touch material. The phone you see here is brown, but actually does come with replaceable covers in the box, so it's nice that you can replace them as you want. You aren't stuck with one color of the phone all the time, but a nice touch for the phone. You can see that we have a camera lens right here, there is a flash. The external display is hidden behind the cover, so when the backlighting is off, you'll see nothing. Here on this side, there is also a button that will open the flap automatically -- you press that. You see it just pops open. Still not a huge fan of the feature though. I think it's just a bit unnecessary. I have no problem opening the phone like this. I really don't need a button to do it for me. Inside there's a very nice internal display. It's a nice size, rich colors, rich graphics, a lot of color showing up there. This is a bit of a mirrored frame that catches all the fingerprints -- not a huge deal, though. Down to the navigation controls and keypad, there is a square toggle. Also the keypad buttons, I like it that they are separated from each other. Numbers are pretty large. Backlighting is bit dim though, so you might want to take a look at those. The only thing I don't like about this is they were very slippery, they're flushed, but I just would like to be able to do it with by feel possibly, so not the best feature. Inside you'll find midrange feature, Bluetooth, 2-magapixel camera. It does have Wi-Fi, so you can use T-Mobile's at home service. Call volume was a little low, I thought the call clarity was good, but the call volume was a little low. So it's a decent midrange phone overall. Offers a few unique design touches. Doesn't offer a whole lot feature wise that other phones don't have. And would you do want to be wary of that low call volume. I'm Kent German and this is the Nokia 7510. ^M00:01:54 [ Music ]
