>> Hi. I'm Kent German, Senior Editor here at CNET.com. Today we're gonna take a First Look at the Nokia 6350. This is a new phone for AT&T service. This follows just on the heels of the Nokia Mural, and I do like this phone a little better, at least the design. This design is a little more attractive. I like how it feels in the hands. It does come in the red that you see here, and also a graphite, which is basically a gray. It has a soft touch material surrounding most of the backside and some of the front side as well. Otherwise, you'll see just black plastic right there. On the front, you do have a nice external display. It also works as a self-portrait viewfinder for the camera lens that's right above. There's no flash, but a two-megapixel camera. On the front, you also have dedicated music controls. Felt that the touch controls weren't quite sensitive enough, and the play button is a little too small, so as much as I like having the keys on the front, I felt these could be a little bigger. When you open the phone, it forms a smooth arc like we've seen on a lot of Nokia phones recently. The internal display is really bright and colorful. It shows the 16 million colors. The menus are easy to use, graphics and photos and colors and everything look great. Keypad buttons and controls, they are spacious, so they were pretty easy to use. These two shortcuts, the web browser and the GPS, useful, yes, but I'd really rather see a dedicated back key and maybe a dedicated speakerphone key as well. But I felt I could still dial and text quickly without any problems, and there's pretty big numbers on them as well, and they're brightly backlit. Inside, the phone has GPS set up for AT&T navigator. It has a two-megapixel camera. I mentioned the 3G, so that means they you can get AT&T video, which is streaming video. Also, you can download music through AT&T's partners. You have a personal organizer, a speakerphone, messaging, and the support for AT&T's push-to-talk service, so not a bad little feature set there. I'm Kent German. This is the Nokia 6350. ^M00:01:49 [ Music ]
