>> Hi, I'm Kent Sherman, senior editor here at CNET.com. Today we're going to take a first look at the Nokia 5610 Express Music, this is a new phone for T-Mobile service. On the whole it is an attractive design. It is a slider, it goes up just like that. Displays pretty nice, it's 16 million colors so it's very brilliant. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the icons on the menus look a little jagged but overall it's not too bad. One thing that's unique about this phone is that it does have this music slider bar here. What this does is, if you slide it to the left, it will open the music player instantly. You can then use the toggle to scroll down and either select playlists or all songs or whatever you might like so overall that's a nice touch. It does allow you instant access to the player, however, the toggle wasn't so great. I found it a little stiff, when I was trying to select items sometimes, I ended up moving up or down or side to side by accident. Keypad buttons are hidden behind the slider, of course, and the end actually doubles as a power button. Here on the side there's a volume rocker, here we see you have a camera lens and a flash, flash is actually very bright. Here's a speaker as well, even though it's a single speaker it has pretty good output. Here in the top we have a button for releasing the battery cover, battery cover did seem the slightest bit flimsy, wouldn't want to remove it too often and that's really too bad because actually the Micro SD slide is located behind the battery cover. Inside you'll find stereo, BlueTooth, fair number of features, 3.2 megapixel camera and that express music player along with the FM radio. But overall, well performing phone and a nice design and pretty good features. I'm Kent Sherman and this is the Nokia 5610 Express Music. ^M00:01:33

Nokia 5610 Xpress Music - blue (Unlocked) Review
The good: The Nokia 5610 Xpress Music offers a satisfying music-centric feature set and admirable performance. The design is well-constructed and easy to use, and it offers a brilliant display.
The bad: The Nokia 5610 Xpress Music's navigation toggle was stiff and its keypad was slippery. Its memory card slot is in an inconvenient location, and the camera's functionality is limited when using the flash.
The bottom line: The Nokia 5610 Xpress Music offers a nice higher-end alternative to the Nokia 5310 with a flashier design and upgraded features. It's a good performer, too.
