Nissan Sports Sedan Concept Video Transcript
Look. I'll be honest with you. When I was researching this car I had to go to Nissan's website and see if they even still made the Maxima. It's not exactly high on a lot of people minds these days. Here's their way of saying look. We got it. The new Impala looks nice. The Ford Taurus does okay, but they need more umm. This definitely would have more umm. This could be the new Maxima arriving as soon as next spring. It's kind of the buzz expectation here in the show area. Now it looks pretty audacious, but car makers have had a pretty good track record lately of saying, you know what, we can bring that concept car to market closer to that look than you might imagine. Under the hood to get it to market that soon don't expect any crazy magic. Probably the corporate 3-1/2-liter V6 doing around 300 horsepower, front-wheel drive through a CVT, but if this is what it takes to bring a little more vim and vigor back to the Maxima which once defined the category I think they're right on the right track, and it gets back to an old name they used to put on the Maxima. Remember this, 4-door sport sedan. They have if anybody have the cred to bring that back to the fore.
