>> Okay, I' m the first to admit it. I never really got the Pivo, but this is the Pivo2 from Nissan. It hangs on to that rotating body thing--kinda like a princess carousel. It's got this wheels that can rotate 90 degrees. You can get queasy watching this thing drive but what's really amazing on the Pivo2 is that annoying little robot head on the dashboard. Tom Merritt would love this car. I'd rather kill myself to be stuck with that thing on a long ride. The robot gives you navigation advice as you drive. I don't need that from you Mr. Robohead. Even worse, it tries to keep you happy all the time. If it detects that you're stressed out while driving; it will make happy, soothing conversation or if the things are getting sleepy and drifting, it might suggest you pull over to a coffee shop and it will show you that on the navigation screen as well or may be if you're all freaked out on saying, "Man, oh this!" as you try and go through a city traffic, it will say "Let's stop a while for a couple of cocktails. Well, not really but then I might like this car. [ Music ]
Nissan gets wired with the Pivo 2 concept car, a melted Xbox 360, how YouTube could make you smarter, an exploding iPod, and the Facebook or MySpace question.
The wackiest instrument panel yet may save gas.
On view at the 2006 Geneva Car Show, the Nissan Terranaut Concept car is an over-the-top, futuristic SUV.
We know cars and video games go together, but this is something else entirely. The Nissan Urge concept blurs the line between being a car or a game in itself!
The Nissan ENV200 Concept is a high-tech utility vehicle that is powered by an electric motor that impresses CNET's Wayne Cunningham at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.
While Jasmine's away, Donald and Eric fully nerd out with robots, robots, more robots, and vodka.
Alli (aka Heavy from the old days) joins us on today's show and as usual, she brings up the wackiest topics. Today's tangents include Halloween costume ideas, time travel, and super powers...oh, and some stories from the Internet, too!
It may look like a British milk truck but it's really a lithium battery powered vehicle concept from Nissan that might be a Scion xB alternative. Brian Cooley gives us a first look at the 2008 New York International Auto Show.
At the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Nissan's TeRRA SUV Concept is keeping alive the idea of hydrogen fuel-cell powered cars. But what most impresses CNET's Wayne Cunningham is a technology that uses an iPad-like device that serves as a key to power the car.
Nissan is back in the minivan business
