Nikon D5200 DSLR Video Transcript
Hi! I'm Lori Grunin here at CES with the Nikon D5200. Camera has been announced in Europe for earlier, actually late last year and finally they announced it in the U.S. and it's a very popular camera amongst the cameras that have not yet been announced on our site. It's a replacement for the D5100, has a High Resolution Sensor. It's a 24-megapixel CMOS and interestingly right now there are rumors going around that it's a Toshiba sensor not a Sony. However, Nikon will confirm nor deny. So, we'll see. Also has a shiny new texture, it's not the matte texture. Actually, not really, doesn't really do it for me but the 5200 now comes in colors which is new for that higher level of SLR. It's kind of new interface for the display you know, the usual variable articulation display that was on the D5100. Also, it's upgraded to Full HD video at 30p and has a stereo microphone built-in which is a nice touch. The price will be 899-95, ships at the end of this month and I look forward to testing it and I know I say that a lot but it's true. I'm Lori Grunin, this is the Nikon D5200.
