Nike + Sportwatch GPS Video Transcript

-Welcome to the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show. I'm Natali Morris giving you a first look of the Nike+ GPS watch powered by Tom Tom. This is a GPS watch and a heart rate monitor and a calorie count. Basically, an all around fitness watch. One of the cool things about this that I like the most is that it keeps track of all the data about your workout, and then, instead of sending this wirelessly or keeping this somewhere where you have to find later, it has this USB plug that just pulls out of the back and then you plug it right into your computer. And I am assuming that this is water-proof. So if you sweat all over it, it's not gonna short out your computer. We don't have a price on this. We know it comes out on April 1st. There are a couple of other cool things about it. If you tap the screen like that, the light comes on. So if you're taking say a spin class and you want that day to lit up, you can just get it easily by tapping it quickly. It only comes on this big, kind of masculine yellow, big, bulky variety for now, but I'm told that they'll probably have some that are a bit more feminine if that's your preference, but it is really easy to use. In the past, I've used GPS watches for fitness, and you know, the harder they are to set up, the harder they are to use in the end. So, it's kinda nice that this just takes care of where you been, how far you've gone, how many calories you burn, etc. etc. and help you to fulfill your New Year's resolutions.
