Nike Aero Sport Headphones Video Transcript

>> Jasmine: One of the main reasons to replace the headphones that come with your MP3 player is fit particularly if you're gonna be using those at the gym. You also want to look for a model that is at least somewhat water resistant. I'm Jasmine France and I'm here with the Nike Aero Sport headphones one of the most sweatproof headphones I think I've ever seen. You can kind of tell from the design immediately it's this, you know, slim plastic design and they have like rubberized ear pads on them and they are extremely easy to clean and very water resistant so it doesn't matter even if you're pouring sweat these will still continue to work. Now continuing on with the design you can see that there's a slim neck band that loops over the ear and behind the back of the head and then the wire comes out the back so that it's going down the back of you and will stay out of the way of your arms while you're working out. Also you can kind of see that it has a very Appley aesthetic so it has the kind of original iPod look going for it and it is, in fact, sold in the Apple Store. Now I do not find these particularly comfortable because of the plastic of the head band but everybody's gonna be different. They did fit very securely during activity. Also, these headphones have one other feature that's worth noting and that's this removable shirt clip that will keep the cable managed and out of your way while you're at the gym. Now as far as sound quality is concerned these aren't the best sounding headphones I've heard, actually, I just thought that they sounded very heavy in the mid ranges. But, you know, if you're at the gym maybe you don't care as much about sound quality and they only cost $40.00 so if you're looking for something that'll be secure and is totally sweatproof this may fit the bill. I'm Jasmine France and this has been the Nike Aero Sport headphones. ^M00:01:31 [ Music ]

Nike Aero Sport Headphones Review

Editors' rating

The good: The Nike Aero Sport headphones fit securely during activity and are sweatproof and easy to clean. They offer a simple, stylish design.

The bad: The Nike Aero Sport's hard plastic ear loops aren't particularly comfortable, and sound quality is poor for music.

The bottom line: The Nike Aero Sport Headphones may not sound great, but they're an inexpensive option for fitness-fiends who dig on the super sleek, ultra sweatproof design.
