"The Celestine Prophecy" trailer
Based on James Redfield's worldwide best-selling novel, "The Celestine Prophecy" is a spiritual adventure film chronicling the discovery of ancient scrolls in the rainforests of Peru. The prophecy and its nine key insights predict a worldwide awakening, arising within all religious traditions, that moves humanity toward a deeper experience of spirituality. "If we pay attention, we can find a greater life, no matter where we are, no matter who we are, no matter what our circumstances are. If you tune into the mysterious coincidences in your life, if you discover and then follow your intuitions, you will find that there's a door of opportunity for a greater life for you. You can't be a victim and do it, but if you go beyond that, if you find a way out of whatever circumstance you're in, whatever block you think you might face, what happens is that it works. It always works. The only thing that holds any of us back is not believing that it works." -- James Redfield

We all have secrets. Some of us can live with ours. This is the short story of a young woman who can no longer live with her secret. A few drinks after work, a bicycle and a mistaken identity. Eventually, we all face our secrets. "Secrets" is my first short video/film ever. After nearly 25 years in Broadcasting, I decided to write, shoot and edit my own short videos. Spurred on by the short video contest "DVChallenge" at DVInfo.net, I shot a short dark video as my first creation. I was lucky enough to work for a broadcast equipment company a short time ago and was able to buy some great professional DVCam equipment, which I recently began to put to use. "Secrets" won 1st place in DVChallenge 2. I am particularly proud of this, as it was my first effort. Some could argue that 25 years in broadcasting helped and I would agree. On the other hand, in broadcasting, one person nearly never does all the jobs of writing, shooting, editing, DP, LD and so on. My videos to date have had a crew of exactly one, me. So far, I like it that way. As the complexity level in future videos rises, I will be seeking help for various roles. Also look for my even darker short called "Frame 37", created for DVChallenge 3. I hope you enjoy "Secrets". You can find out more information on what I do at http://www.DeepBlueEdit.com Thanks for watching, Sean McHenry
