WWDC 2009: New 15-inch MacBook Pro revealed
At Apple's WWDC in San Francisco, Apple's vice president of product marketing, Philip Schiller, shows off the company's latest MacBook Pro. The new notebook has a 3.06GHz processor, a unibody architecture, and a built-in lithium polymer battery. Schiller adds that customers shouldn't need to change battery in a notebook at all in five years.
Apple unveils MobileMe at WWDC
Philip Schiller, senior vice president of worldwide marketing at Apple, unveils MobileMe, the company's new cloud computing service, at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. The new service will connect all of your devices and push information up and down to keep everything up to date. It's also designed to be native with the Mac and PC to keep calendars, mail, and documents in sync.
At Apple's headquarters, Apple's senior vice president of marketing, Philip Schiller, unveils new iPod Nano features, including a new multitouch icon screen, new sensors for runners, and the ability to wear the device as a watch. The Nano comes in 7 colors, in an 8GB version for $129 and a 16GB version for $149.

At Macworld Expo 2009 in San Francisco, Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of marketing, announces a MacBook Pro that features a nonremovable battery designed to last about eight hours between charges. The starting price of the new notebook, which comes with either 4GBs or 8GBs of memory, is $2,799, the same as that of the old 17-inch model. It is set to begin shipping by the end of the month.

He shows off new GPS geotagging that allows users to organize photos using a digital camera by embedding geographical tags into photos, as well as new face detection software that helps users find photos by detecting faces across multiple photos.
Apple expands DRM-free music selection
At Macworld 2009 in San Francisco, Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of marketing, announces a new music price plan and an expanded selection of digital rights management-free songs in its iTunes Store. Users will be able to strip their existing DRM-wrapped music of the controversial copy protection software, but doing so will cost 30 cents per song.
Apple tunes up Keynote features

Apple rocks on with new GarageBand

Now designed to help Mac users learn to play a musical instrument, GarageBand will let users download lessons from artists such as John Fogerty and Sting for $4.99. As a part of the lesson, artists give a bit of songs' back stories.
